About Snip Happens! Spay and Neuter

Our Mission

Why we do this

Why we do this

At Snip Happens Spay and Neuter,

we are a small group of volunteers committed to reducing the population of unwanted puppy and kitten litters. We focus on animal care in challenging rural areas.

Because we depend solely on donations - our success is truly your success!

Why we do this

Why we do this

Why we do this

Many people in rural areas ‘inherit’ strays that wander into their yards. Out of their own compassion, people feed them as best as possible. Unfortunately, compassion and good intentions can’t pay the high cost of spay and neutering – so the cycle of unwanted litters continues.

How do we make progress

What have we accomplished

What have we accomplished

Currently, our funding comes from 4 individuals for a total of $437 a month. Donations are used specifically for surgery costs. Costs such as medicine, gas, meals are paid from personal monies. As funds are available, volunteers make phone calls and knock on doors to offer spay and neuter services. We then provide transportation and recovery care after surgeries and then return them.
